Kryptun

A software company that designs and builds websites, mobile apps and custom software for businesses in Egypt and the Gulf, from the first idea to launch and beyond.

The name comes from Krypton, the planet of superheroes: a factory of heroes, and we wanted to be a factory of super digital solutions. Not Kryptonite, the hero's one weakness, because we're here to build strength. The first slogan, “Developing Super Apps & Websites”, was outgrown as the work spread to custom software, ERP, marketing and SEO. Today it's “Beyond Digital Limits”.

Lnsly

A B2B SaaS workspace for photography and video studios, Arabic-first: a booking website, clients and e-signed contracts, installments, the crew and branded client galleries, all in one platform.

The idea came on a visit to wedding photographer Magdy Ali, whose studio still ran on an old desktop app that only worked from the studio's computer. Why isn't all of this online? That question became an equal partnership with Ali Allam, who led the technical build. “Without Ali Allam, Lnsly would never have come to life.”

    • Own the engineering function end to end: application architecture, team structure, delivery and the product's path to its final release.

    • Lead the build of Spomotion, an app that gets people off their feeds and into real life: sports, activities and events at real venues, with real-time chat and map-centered discovery.

    • Led a 20-person engineering organization split into squads, each owning its own portfolio of client projects, end to end from requirements to post-launch support.
    • Extended delivery to cross-platform, shipping 20+ SaaS e-commerce products in Flutter.
    • Rebuilt the hiring process to raise the bar for every new engineer, and built a pipeline that routes client-reported issues to the right team.
    • Ran regular one-on-ones and a weekly engineering knowledge-sharing session.
